Watch the work before proposing anything
Sit beside the person doing the task, on the day they do it. The process people describe and the process they run are different documents.
Write the decision down, including what we rejected
Every architecture choice gets a document naming the options, the tradeoffs, the recommendation, and the fallback. You sign it before we build.
A person approves anything that moves money
Automation prepares the work and shows it. It doesn't send, file, or pay on its own. Speed matters less than the owner being able to sleep.
Build for the second operator
If only one person can run it, we've moved the dependency rather than removed it. Every build ships with trained backups and a runbook.
Leave nothing that requires us
Rates, rules, and thresholds change in an admin screen, not in code. The code is yours on final payment. If you never call us again, everything we built keeps working.
Jayson founded SPARK to do the work he kept being pulled into anyway: sitting between an owner and a technical decision neither the vendor nor the in-house team was going to explain honestly.
He runs every engagement personally — discovery sessions, architecture decisions, the build itself, and the training at the end. When specialist help is needed, he brings it in and stays accountable for the result.
